R.A. Villamil & Cía has established itself as a reputable and trusted provider of superior wooden cigar boxes since 1998, when they became Cibox founded by Rolando A. Villamil. We take pride in our commitment to quality, consistency, and offering a diverse range of boxes options that set us apart in the industry.
In 1981, Mr. Villamil began his journey in the tobacco industry at Compañía Tabacalera, SA (Cotasa). Since then, tobacco became his lifelong passion, and he devoted himself to developing the industry. For Rolando, a cigar box was not just a collection of wooden pieces; it represented an inviting opportunity to indulge in the pleasure of a good cigar.
In 2022 Carla Pimentel Rincón assumed the role of the primary company shareholder. She took her initial steps in the tobacco industry back in 2006 as a Supply Chain trainee at Industria del Tabaco Leon Jimenes. Her passion for the field intensified when she joined Charles Fairmorn Intl. in 2009, where Mr. Rolando Villamil hired her to manage various departments. After more than a decade of working closely together, Carla and Mr. Villamil developed a strong bond and shared the passion for tobacco. Carla is now carrying forward his remarkable legacy.
